Seitron S.p.A. protects the privacy of visitors to its website  www.seitron.com  (hereinafter, the “Site”) adopting all the most suitable measures for the protection of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the law. This information describes the methods of processing of information provided by visitors to the Seitron S.p.A. website, and the methods of processing of personal data. Any "personal data" collected through the Site will be processed in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 ("General Data Protection Regulation" GDPR).

The information is intended for all subjects who interact with the web pages of the Site, for those who use the Site without registering, for those who, at the end of the specific procedure, register on the Site and use the online services guaranteed through it and for those who send emails to the email addresses of this Site.

This information is provided pursuant to art. 13 GDPR. The data processing is carried out in compliance with the rights of fundamental freedoms, as well as the dignity of the interested party, with particular reference to confidentiality and personal identity and the right to protection of personal data. In accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR we provide you with the following information:

The data controller is Seitron S.p.A. with registered office in Via del Commercio 9/11, 36065 Mussolente (VI) (hereinafter, “SEITRON”).

Data collection

The data is collected by browsing the Site, registering on the Site and sending requests via email to the addresses indicated on the Site.

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated on this Site entails the subsequent acquisition, by SEITRON, of the sender's e-mail address, necessary to respond to the sender's requests, as well as any other relevant personal data.

The provision of personal data is optional. Any partial or total failure to provide data by the visitor of the Site will result in the partial or total impossibility of achieving the purposes for which the data are provided to SEITRON, and therefore the impossibility of following up on any requests forwarded through the Site.

Other information, collected by SEITRON, may be provided automatically when you access the Site.

This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

It is also permitted to visit the Site anonymously. In this case, SEITRON will not be able to recognize the user, therefore some of the benefits deriving from using the site may not be available.

The personal data provided, collected and made available by SEITRON will be processed using electronic and non-electronic tools.

Purpose of processing

The processing of personal data (including their registration in the SEITRON databases) is aimed at achieving the following purposes:

  • guarantee registration on the Site and the correct provision of the contents and services offered by SEITRON through the Site, to correctly and promptly fulfill all obligations deriving from the law or regulations in force;
  • communicate with the user of the Site and to respond to any requests from the same;
  • carry out market surveys and statistical surveys;
  • evaluate the use of the Site and its content;
  • improve the products and services offered by SEITRON;
  • carry out communications relating to press conferences and/or send material for the press (for journalists only);
  • collect applications in the Work with us section;
  • carrying out processing in connection with SEITRON's activity.

The Site allows users to send their curriculum vitae in order to propose their application to work at SEITRON.

We also point out that your consent to the processing of data for one or more of the purposes indicated above may be revoked at any time (as indicated in the Rights of Interested Parties section), by modifying the consent data at the time of each new entry to the Site.

Information retention

Personal data will be retained for the period necessary to guarantee the correct provision of the services offered by SEITRON. After this period the data will be deleted.

Communication – Dissemination

SEITRON may transfer personal data, possibly collected through the Site in other States, even outside the European Union, to subsidiaries, associated companies, as well as to external service companies even only for technical-IT reasons. In these cases, the data transfer will take place in compliance with the provisions of the art. 44 et seq. Of the GDPR.

Personal data may also be communicated to:

  • subjects (including Public Authorities) who have access to personal data pursuant to regulatory or administrative provisions;
  • companies, consultants or professionals possibly responsible for the installation, maintenance, updating and, in general, management of SEITRON's hardware and software or which SEITRON uses for the provision of its services;
  • third parties or Internet providers responsible for sending documentation and/or information material;
  • public and/or private entities, natural and/or legal persons (Judicial Offices, Chambers of Commerce, Chambers and Labor Offices, etc.), if the communication is necessary or functional for the correct fulfillment of the obligations deriving from the law.

Other websites

The Site may call up links to third-party applications and other websites that may offer useful information/services to visitors. This privacy protection policy also applies to these sites and, consequently, information relating to their privacy protection procedures will be made in accordance with the provisions of this information only if the same sites do not have a specific privacy policy.

Cookies

The computer systems and software used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Automatic collection technologies include, for example, cookies.

Cookies are pieces of information that are automatically saved on your computer's hard drive following your access to certain websites and uniquely identify your browser. Cookies allow information to be stored on the server that helps improve navigation and conduct analyzes to evaluate the performance of the Site. Most web browsers accept cookies automatically: the user can, however, modify the settings of their browser in such a way as to refuse all cookies or to be notified when some are sent. We point out that some areas of the Site may not function properly if the user refuses cookies.

SEITRON does not use cookies to examine other websites that may be visited before or after leaving the Site.

Consent

By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of information by SEITRON under the terms and conditions set forth in this statement. If SEITRON decides to change this information, which it can do at any time and without notice, such changes will be published on this page. By continuing to use the Site after SEITRON has posted changes to this policy, you accept those changes. We recommend that you periodically check this page of the Site to learn about any changes to this information.

Rights of interested parties

Finally, we remind you that, pursuant to art. 15 - 20 of the GDPR, the interested party has the right to:

1. access your data and obtain from the Data Controller confirmation of the existence or otherwise of personal data and communication of the same in an intelligible form;

2. obtain, from the Data Controller, access to the information referred to in Article 15 paragraph 1 GDPR and, in particular, receive:

   a. information on the purposes, methods of processing and categories of data in question;

   b. indications regarding the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the data may be communicated or who may become aware of the same;

   c. the data retention period or the criteria for determining it;

   d. all available information on the origins of the data if they are not collected from the interested party;

   e. information on the logic applied to treatments carried out with the aid of electronic instruments.

3. Be informed of the existence of adequate guarantees in the event of data transfer abroad pursuant to art. 46 of the GDPR;

4. Receive a copy of the personal data being processed;

5. Obtain the rectification of data without unjustified delay and the integration of incomplete data by providing a supplementary declaration;

6. Obtain the deletion of personal data without unjustified delay and proceed with the deletion in the cases provided for in Article 17 of the GDPR and except as provided for in paragraph 3 of the same article;

7. Obtain the limitation of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR;

8. Obtain the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and provide them to another data controller pursuant to Article 20 of the GDPR;

9. oppose, in whole or in part:

   a. for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data concerning you, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection;

   b. to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purposes of commercial information or sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication;

   c. to sending newsletters to your email inbox.

Pursuant to art. 15 paragraph 3 GDPR when requesting further copies of your personal data, the Data Controller may charge an administrative fee.
