Freetime summer-winter chronothermostat: how it works
My Freetime programmable thermostat does not turn on the boiler
Autumn is in full swing, temperatures are starting to drop, in other words it's time to turn on the heating! Nothing simpler! We are getting closer to our Freetime chronothermostat , we set it following the step by step guide and... the boiler doesn't turn on. Is it possible that Freetime isn't working properly? Will there be a problem with the boiler?
Before jumping to hasty conclusions, keep reading, the solution may be simpler than expected!
Summer/Winter function of the chronothermostat
When you turn on the chronothermostat, check whether the function has been activated, perhaps unintentionally. Summer cooling . The mode is signaled by the presence of the symbol on the display. fan (see photo) and can be activated by pressing the up arrow button for 4 seconds.

So if your Freetime is in summer mode, all you have to do is reactivate the Winter function , and therefore the heating mode , by pressing the down arrow button (see photo) for 4 seconds.

At this point you will see the symbol appear. small flame which signals that the chronothermostat is in heating mode. Now the boiler will turn on correctly following the programming you have set.
